Photography

I’ve been working in creative fields all my life. As a recording and touring musician, a freelance graphic designer, and for two decades, as a producer for one of the world’s largest kids’ entertainment networks, I’ve had the opportunity to travel extensively. Along the way, I’ve produced award-winning behind-the-scenes short films, music videos, documentaries, YouTube series and other promotional content.

Throughout this journey I've had my cameras with me, a Polaroid 600, Minolta, Fuji x100T, various digital devices and nowadays simply my iPhone. Taking photos has always been a part of who I am as it allows me to share the way I see the world.

My photos tend to be sparse, often of uninhabited locations, places that seem forgotten. Architectural, symmetrical, and at times austere, my photos are rarely overly conceptual. I react to the simple beauty of how lines come together to form shapes and divide an image. I take particular enjoyment in capturing old signage, majestic roadside beacons of wood, steel and neon that evoke a bygone era.

Whether it's pulling over the car, crossing a busy road or charging towards a rapidly changing sky, it's all about reacting to the moments I encounter. Photography has always been about self-expression to me, feeding this internal compulsion when the moment arises.
